Its fur varieties include blue fox, silver fox, white fox, mink, Ussuri raccoon dog pelts and rex rabbit pelts, providing a good sales platform for professional farming households and a legal and standardized procurement channel for purchasers, reducing purchase and sales costs. It is the largest rare fur animal (fox, raccoon dog and mink) purchase and sales market in the Lunan region, attracting enterprises and trading companies from the domestic and overseas fur industry to come and negotiate and purchase furs. Tangtou has a long history of fur farming, with complete varieties, good quality and large scale; the main varieties include mink, raccoon dog, fox, silver fox, colored fox and rex rabbit. This market is about 100 km from each of the three ports of Lanshan (Rizhao) and Lianyungang, 200 km from Qingdao Port, 260 km from Jinan and 260 km from Qingdao, and 30–40 km from each of the six surrounding county-level cities.
